Laxman Bawankule, an assistant engineer at Koradi Super Thermal Power Station, has become famous not for his engineering skills but due to his handwriting. This year, the organisers have declared him the ‘lifetime triple-crown winner.’ What makes Laxman’s achievement very, very special is the fact that he has birth defects in his right hand as well as both the feet. Only his left hand is free from any defect and he has made the most of it. Laxman had lost his parents by age 3 and was brought up by his grandmother.
