Iran Offers Mediation Between India and Pakistan Amid Ongoing Tensions After Kashmir Attack

Iran on Friday offered to mediate between India and Pakistan amid rising tensions following a deadly terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam, blamed on Pakistan-based militants. Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi emphasized regional peace and called India and Pakistan “brotherly neighbours,” adding that Tehran views both countries as a diplomatic priority.
