Monsoon rains over the past few days have brought much desired relief from heat. But they are burning a hole in the Aam Aadmi’s pocket as vegetable prices have soared. Consumers across the country are complaining about higher prices.With transport affected due to rains and flood, there has been a shortfall in Mandis and this is reflecting in the prices.T omato prices have shot through the roof, crossing the century mark in most cities. Prices of other vegetables have also moved northwards. So, what should the consumers do?
