Raju Singh Bhadoria, a farmer’s son from Madhya Pradesh created history on Saturday after qualifying for the Asian Games. Bhadoria, who is training at the MP Equestrian Academy hails from MP’s Bhind district and his father Sujan Singh Bhadoria is a farmer. Raju completed the Asian Games selection criteria with 40.8 penalties becoming the fourth qualifier from India at the Games. He qualified after winning the CCI Two Star Eventing Competition organized at ASC Center in Bengaluru. Before booking a place in the Indian team, Raju qualified the second qualifier from January 4 to 8, 61 Kevalri in Jaipur with 37 penalties and qualified the first trial in Delhi in 2022 at Army Equestrian Center Delhi with 40.4 penalties. India has two riders who have qualified from the Army— Major Apoorva Dabade from 61 Cavalry Jaipur and Havildar Vikas Kumar from Veterinary Corps Meerut. Ashish Limai from Pune is the other qualifier from India for the Asian Games.
