On Earth Day 2023, Google has shared a doodle on climate change on its home page. Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperature and weather patterns across the world Some changes in weather pattern over the years is natural. But in recent years, climate change has gathered pace with disastrous consequences for world population. Climate change has led to increase in extreme weather events like floods, droughts, etc. Burning of fossil fuel for industrial activity that produces large amount of greenhouse gases is the main reason of climate change, although cutting down of forests to make way for cities and agricultural activities are also to blame.
