DMRC's Surprise Decision: Alcohol now allowed on Delhi Metro trains

Passengers of the Delhi Metro can now carry two sealed bottles of alcohol, as per the recent decision by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). The revised guidelines, applicable on all metro lines, come after a committee review and relaxation of the earlier ban on carrying alcohol, except on the Airport Express Line. While allowing this, the DMRC has emphasized the importance of maintaining decorum and responsible behavior during travel. Any passenger found behaving indecently or under the influence of alcohol will face legal consequences. This decision aims to accommodate passengers' needs while ensuring a safe and comfortable journey for all on the Delhi Metro.
