Delhi Pollution Live Updates: AQI remains severe across the National Capital

The Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi remains within the 'severe' category, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). Specific AQI readings include 486 in Dwarka Sector-8, 480 at IGI Airport-T3, 464 in Aya Nagar, and 463 in Jahangirpuri. In response to this severe air pollution, the Delhi government has ordered the closure of all primary schools for both Friday and Saturday, with a decision regarding further closures to be made on Monday. Additional restrictions are currently in effect in Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, and Faridabad, all of which are part of the National Capital Region (NCR), aimed at addressing the critical air quality. Additionally, the pollution may also have an impact on the Cricket World Cup match scheduled for Monday between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, to be held in Delhi.
