Controversial statements of Digvijaya Singh that triggered storms

Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh made headlines for his controversial comments that landed the party in trouble in the past. His controversial remarks on sensitive issues have forced the party leaders on backfoot. He has also been reprimanded by the Congress high command, but it makes no difference to him. During Bharat Jodo Yatra, Digvijaya Singh questioned the Surgical strike carried out in 2016 by the Indian defence forces on terror camps in Pak-Occupied Kashmir is his recent remark forced even Rahul Gandhi to clarify the party's stance.
