Aditya-L1 successfully escapes Earth's influence, heads towards L1: ISRO

ISRO has confirmed that its Aditya L1 spacecraft has successfully moved beyond the Earth's influence, traveling over 9.2 lakh kilometers. This marks a significant milestone as it makes its way to its destination point at the first Sun-Earth Lagrangian point (L1) for solar observations. Simultaneously, ISRO is gearing up for its Venus mission, "Shukrayaan," scheduled for a December 2024 launch. The mission aims to explore Venus's unique atmosphere and conditions, with the next opportunity for a similar launch window in 2031.
