Noida authority acquires bottle crushing machines to crush plastics and re-process them to strengthen roads and highways. These can also be used for bathroom accessories such as tiles and basins. The authority believes the move will reduce the usage of plastic. The purpose of this initiative is that waste, be it solid, hazardous or plastic, should be scientifically disposed. After crushing plastic bottles the crushed plastic is recycled by vendors to be later used. Three machines have been installed in Noida - at the Noida authority office in Sector 6, Brahmaputra Market in Sector 29 and Sector 18 Market. To know more watch Property Matters
