Axis My India Skips Bengal Exit Polls After 70% Voters Refuse To Respond

In a major twist to the West Bengal Assembly elections, Axis My India has decided not to release its exit poll projections, citing an unusually high voter silence trend. The pollster reported that nearly 70% of respondents refused to disclose their voting choices, creating a significant non-response bias and making the data statistically unreliable. While Axis has stepped back, other pollsters have released conflicting projections, with some predicting a BJP win and others backing the Trinamool Congress for a fourth term. With results due on May 4 and the majority mark at 148, uncertainty continues to dominate Bengal’s political landscape.
