Telecom sector demands uniform policy for towers

Telecom operators have demanded a uniform policy on cell sites and Right of Way (RoW) across India to facilitate seamless connectivity. The telcos, in a joint industry event led by Auspi, COAI and Taipa, reiterated challenges in setting up mobile infrastructure, which is a prerequisite for the Centre's ambitious Digital India initiative.
