World champion shuttler PV Sindhu bagged the coveted ‘Sportsperson of the Year for 2019’ title at the fourth Times of India Sports Awards (TOISA). Prominent personalities from the sports world marked their presence felt at the glittering awards function which was recently held in Delhi. Football legend Bhaichung Bhutia was bestowed with the 'Lifetime Achievement Award', while Triple Olympic gold medalist hockey legend Balbir Singh Sr was honoured as 'Icon of the Century'. Union Sports minister Kiren Rijiju graced the event and felicitated the 1980 Olympic gold medal winning hockey team with TOISA memento.
