Denying allegations that improper food was being supplied to athletes at the Sports Authority Of India, Union Sports Minister Vijay Goel said that it is not possible to respond to every pity complaint made and whenever anything important came up action was taken. He also added that they sent a contingent of 119 athletes to Rio Olympics from where no such complaint was ever heard. Towards the end he hinted that although he was not aware of any such issues, the athletes were at a liberty to even directly approach him if needed.
