‘Will take it as challenge’: Pralhad Joshi’s take on BJP’s loss in Karnataka Polls

With BJP tasting the harsh loss in the Karnataka Assembly Polls, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi on May 13 in Hubballi took the results as a lesson and said that the party will take it as a ‘challenge’ and will ‘improve’ accordingly. Further going on over the elections, the Union Minister also said that BJP will work to verify the reasons for the setback and will try to rectify them. “We will introspect and verify overall reasons for our setbacks. We will correct the things and take this as a challenge and work upon building the party,” Joshi said. With the results of the Karnataka Assembly Polls being declared on May 13, Congress became the party to bag the win after comfortably clinching the majority of seats out of the total 224 constituencies. Karnataka until this election was the only state in the Southern India that was under BJP’s ruled. The polls were held on May 10.
