'Will Make You Proud': Navy Officer's Widow Offers Emotional Farewell, Nation Salutes Navy Martyr

Just days after her wedding, Himanshi Narwal's world shattered. She had married Lieutenant Vinay Narwal, a 26-year-old Navy officer from Karnal, Haryana, on April 16. They had barely begun their honeymoon in Jammu and Kashmir when tragedy struck. While enjoying a quiet moment in Baisaran near Pahalgam, terrorists opened fire. Vinay was shot in the head, dying instantly as his wife watched in horror. On Wednesday, Himanshi stood by his coffin, grief-stricken yet resolute.
