Wholesale inflation rises to record high of 15.88% in May

The wholesale price-based inflation (WPI) touched a fresh record high of 15.88% in May. WPI inflation was 15.08% in April. In May 2021, the WPI inflation in India was 13.11%. The wholesale food price inflation also surged to 10.9% in May as compared to 8.9% in April.
