West Bengal's Durga Puja pandal shines a spotlight on farmers' plight

Each year, West Bengal eagerly anticipates the vibrant celebration of Durga Puja, with remarkable pandals stealing the spotlight. This year, the Pally Durga Pandal Puja Samiti at Picnic Garden 39 has chosen to dedicate their pandal to the theme of farmers' rights, artfully portraying the story of these hardworking individuals and their enduring struggles. This pandal has been meticulously crafted using everyday materials and tools from the lives of farmers, representing their essence. A dedicated team of 30 to 35 artisans invested approximately two months in its construction. The budget for this remarkable pandal amounts to approximately Rs 15 lakh, embodying a heartfelt tribute to the farming community.
