WB: NCPCR chief Priyank Kanoongo reaches North Dinajpur over rape, murder of minor girl

National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) Chairperson Priyank Kanoongo took cognisance of the alleged gang rape and murder of a minor Dalit girl in Dinajpur. NCPCR Chief Priyank Kanoongo reached to meet the victim's family. While speaking to ANI, Priyank Kanoongo said, “The victim's mother has sent us a complaint. We will go to them to know the facts and take further action after listening to their complaint. 'A Dalit girl was allegedly gang-raped and murdered in North Dinajpur district's Kaliagunj, Uttar Dinajpur. A clash broke out between the locals and police in the district on April 22.
