WB CM Mamata Banerjee reaches Odisha train mishap site to review situation
Amid the rescue operation, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee reached at Odisha train mishap site on June 03. Several political leaders have been visiting the tragedy site. The Balasore train tragedy that took place on June 02, has claimed more than 200 lives so far whereas 900 have been injured. 2 passenger trains along with a goods train were involved in the accident due to the train derailment that resulted in the train collision. The Railways has also announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh for the victims of Odisha’s train tragedy.
