Watch: River freezes in Kargil’s Drass after temperature plummets to minus 35 degree Celsius

With fresh snowfall, temperature in parts of Kargil have dropped to below minus 30 degree Celsius. In Drass, a river has frozen due to low temperature. Locals say that low temperatures during winter is important others plants of the region don't thrive during the summers.
