Watch: Korean Ambassador Chang Jae-bok holds puja for his new Hyundai Genesis GV80 car

A video shared by the Korean Embassy in Delhi shows the country’s Ambassador to India Chang Jae-bok holding a Hindu puja to welcome his new Hyundai Genesis GV80 car. A Hindu priest can be seen conducting the puja after which he also ties a sacred red thread on the Ambassador’s wrists. It’s an Indian tradition to hold puja for any new vehicle that one buys, and the Korean Ambassador’s act was welcomed by Indians. The video has been viewed over 97 thousand times after it was shared on X.
