In yet another desperate bid to avoid extradition, fugitive liquor baron Vijay Mallya turn to the infamous mafia don Abu Salem’s lawyer for help. Mallya’s defence brought in a written submission from Salem’s lawyer, who wrongly accuses India of violating its sovereign guarantees in Salem’s case. The lawyers involvement is of consequence as his testimony could have a certain amount of influence in UK’s willingness in extradite Vijay Mallya.
