Uttarakhand: Pushkar Singh Dhami resigns from his post

Uttarakhand Cheif Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami resigned from his post along with his cabinet. The resignation comes a day after BJP recorded a landslide win in Uttarakhand. But CM Dhami lost the election from the Khatima assembly constituency. Congress candidate Bhuwan Chandra Kapri won from the Khatima constituency by a margin of 6,579 votes. CM Dhami handed his resignation to Governor Lt Gen (retd) Gurmit Singh and he was accompanied by his cabinet colleague cabinet colleagues Satpal Maharaj, Ganesh Joshi and Swami Yatiswaranand.
