The Uttar Pradesh government has shunted out Gonda superintendent of police, Navneet Kumar Rana. The action comes after the personnel had conducted a sting operation which showed a senior Samajwadi Party leader offering bribe for releasing culprits caught for trafficking of cattle, including cow, for slaughter.
