Union minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti has rejected the charges of TMC leaders including Mahua Moitra that she refused to meet them after giving them time. Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti said that the TMC delegation kept changing their demand every half an hour, first saying 5 MPs will be part of the delegation, then saying 10 MPs will meet. Finally, she also agreed to meet all TMC MPs, but the party delegation again changed their demand, saying they wanted that all TMC supporters should be allowed to meet the minister. Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti said that the TMC leaders ran away from the meeting as she had come armed with data to show that the Modi govt has increased allocation under MGNREGA and various other Central schemes for West Bengal.
