Ujjain: Priests perform 'Bhasma Aarti' at Mahakaleshwar Temple to mark beginning of Sawan

As the holy month of Sawan began on July 14, Priests performed 'Bhasma Aarti' at Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. This month is dedicated to worshipping Lord Shiva. According to the Hindu calendar, Sawan falls in the fifth month. All Mondays of Sawan are considered auspicious for fasting by believers.
