US President Donald Trump claimed he played a key role in preventing a potential nuclear conflict between India and Pakistan. Speaking about his conversations with both nations, Trump said the “hatred was tremendous” and warned that without his intervention, tensions could have escalated dangerously. He described telling Pakistan that trade deals would be stalled and tariffs would be imposed, adding, “your head’s going to spin.” According to Trump, the issue was resolved within five hours, though he acknowledged the situation could flare up again. He emphasized the need to stop such conflicts from escalating, framing himself as a decisive mediator between the two countries.
