Tribal woman gives birth to baby in forest in Andhra Pradesh's Alluri Sitaramaraju

In a densely forested area of Andhra Pradesh, a tribal woman had to give birth to a baby boy while on her way to a nearby hospital. She had to walk for three kilometers before an ambulance could arrive. Medical staff said that both mother and baby boy are safe and doing well. According to sources, Sidari Devi of Palamamidi village in Anjali Sanivaram panchayat in Chintapalli mandal was shifted to Chintapalli hospital, 27km away from her village.
