Train 18 named Vande Bharat Express: Railway minister

Railway minister Piyush Goyal has confirmed that indigenously manufactured Train 18 will be named as Vande Bharat Express. Train 18 is set to run between Delhi and Varanasi at a maximum speed of 160kmph. Vande Bharat Express, with 16 coaches and successor to 30-year-old Shatabdi Express, built in 18 months at a cost of Rs 97 crore by the Integral Coach Factory, Chennai. PM Narendra Modi is likely to flag off the train soon.
