India’s dominant win over Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025 took on deeper meaning as skipper Suryakumar Yadav dedicated the victory to the armed forces, expressing solidarity with the families of those affected by the Pahalgam terror attack. Calling it a fitting tribute, he said the team stands with the nation during tough times. Head coach Gautam Gambhir also praised the Indian forces for the success of Operation Sindoor and said the team aimed to bring pride to the country. In a notable moment before the match, Suryakumar and Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha skipped the customary handshake at the toss, reflecting the tense backdrop of the high-stakes clash held in Dubai.
