Spain introduces law promoting gender parity in work and politics

The Spanish PM Pedro Sanchez has introduced a law aiming to promote gender equality. The law titled as Equal Representation Law will be implemented across electoral lists, the boards of directors of big companies and governing boards of professional associations. The key announcement was made ahead of the International Women's Day on March 8.
