BJP MP Kangana Ranaut, addressing the Lok Sabha, launched a sharp attack on the Indian National Congress over Naxalism. She alleged that the party had historically nurtured the Maoist movement and facilitated funding channels linked to such groups. Questioning Congress’ approach to internal security, Ranaut contrasted it with the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, claiming the current government has acted to dismantle Maoist financial networks and curb extortion-driven funding.
