SC stays Allahabad HC order directing UP Govt to impose lockdown in 5 cities

The Supreme Court today stayed the Allahabad High Court order directing the Uttar Pradesh government to impose lockdown in five cities -Lucknow, Allahabad, Kanpur Nagar, Varanasi and Gorakhpur- in the state. The order came shortly after the UP government moved the apex court, challenging the Allahabad High Court order issued yesterday.
