Samajwadi Party’s Manoj Panday resigns from position of Chief Whip in UP Assembly

On February 27, Samajwadi Party MLA Manoj Panday resigned from the position of Chief Whip in Uttar Pradesh Assembly amidst the ongoing RS polls in the nation creating a fear of cross-voting in the RS polls. UP Minister Dayashankar Singh arrived at the MLA’s residence and said, “Manoj Panday has always been a supporter of Sanatana Dharma. He has always given statements regarding the same. He wanted everyone to visit Ayodhya and have a darshan. This is the reason, he showed faith in PM Modi's leadership and has made such a decision.”
