Republic Day 2026 will witness a historic flypast as the Indian Air Force brings Operation Sindoor to the skies of Kartavya Path. Wing Commander Rajesh Deshwal revealed that formations dedicated to Ops Sindoor will highlight the IAF’s role in last year’s precision strikes after the Pahalgam terror attack. Rafale, Su-30, MiG-29 and Jaguar fighter jets that participated in the strikes will fly in formation, joined by helicopters and transport aircraft. The flypast will also feature Apache, ALH, LCH, P8I and Mi-17 platforms, while the Sindoor flag will be flown in tribute to India’s successful military campaign. This year’s parade is set to blend national pride with a clear strategic message.
