A replica of Ayodhya’s Ram temple measuring 80 feet by 50 feet has been made in Sector 34, Chandigarh. Preparations for the inauguration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya are underway with great enthusiasm across the country. In Chandigarh, various events are scheduled for January 22, under the guidance of Shri Ram Kripa Seva Trust.“We are observing a ‘Ram Lalla Week’ for Chandigarh’s people as they are not able to go to Ayodhya for ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony. We have prepared a replica of Ram temple for the people. Every devotee has a wish to visit the Ram Lalla temple as the day has come after 500 years. But it is not possible for them. So, we thought to prepared a replica of Ram temple for them…,” said Organiser.“The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya will be going on January 22. That’s why, we decided to hold a various program in Chandigarh. Today, Kalash yatra will take place from the temple in Sector 23 and culminating at Sector 34. 5,000 women will participate in it. ‘Ram Bhajan Sandhya’ led by renowned bhajan singer Kanhaiya Mittal will be organised on today evening…Free entry are available for the Chandigarh people here in the function,” said Chandigarh Municipal Corporation Mayor Anup Gupta.
