In response to the controversial remarks made by Bihar Education Minister Chandra Shekhar, who referred to "Ramcharitmanas" as "Potassium Cyanide," BJP leader Sambit Patra strongly condemned the comments. Patra asserted that individuals who dare to label 'Ram' as poisonous will face a public boycott. During a media address, Patra expressed concerns about the INDIA Alliance's overall attitude towards Hinduism, highlighting that some members have even equated "Ramcharitmanas" to Potassium Cyanide. He pointed out that the Indian alliance has remained silent on the Bihar minister's comments concerning Ramcharitmanas. Patra also challenged Rahul Gandhi, asking if he possesses the resolve to distance himself and his party from such remarks and actions. Bihar Education Minister Chandrashekhar has once again ignited controversy by stating that Ramcharitmanas, an epic poem derived from the Ramayana, contains elements comparable to potassium cyanide (a poison).
