Railway portal to offer free air travel insurance of Rs 50 lakh

Starting February, you can get travel insurance of Rs 50 lakh for free if you buy air tickets through IRCTC, the e-ticketing and catering arm of Indian Railways. IRCTC chairman and managing director M P Mall said the free insurance scheme will be for all air travellers, domestic or international, irrespective of the class of ticket.
