After political memes in taking each other, now the political parties are coming up with video clips using the faces of its top leaders in putting down the opponents on the mat. It all started with Aam Aadmi Party using the characters of party’ national convener Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann, party’ Chief Ministerial face for Punjab in taking on Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu and Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi with the song Dil da mamla hai dilbar in the background. In another meme based video clip wherein Bhagwant Mann in a fighting ring puts Navjot Singh Sidhu, former CM Captain Amarinder Singh, CM Charanjit Singh Channi and Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Badal with the song tere yaar nu dabban nu phirde ae par dab da kithe hai. In yet another song centred around Bhagwant Mann the party sings Saade CM saab badlan ge Punjab. Answering it, Congress has prepared a meme based video clip based on 2011 superhero film Thor. In the video clip Charanjit Singh Channi, Navjot Sidhu, former president of Punjab Congress, Rahul Gandhi are shown in different characters while Channi as Thor Odin rise high in the sky with background voice of hun ni bach de tussi Kithe hai Kejriwal, Modi (you could not be saved now, where are Krejriwal, Modi), pointing towards Arvind Kejriwal and the Prime Modi Narendra Modi. Modi, Kejriwal, Capt Amarinder Singh and Sukhbir Badal are put to mat. Earlier memes were used by BJP and Congress in taking on Bhagwant Mann showing him drunkard when he was announced as Chief Ministerial face of the Aam Aadmi Party on January 18. All these video clips are being shared widely from various twitter handles and in different platforms in social media which are getting large numbers of views.
