On Christmas morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi joined prayers and carols at Delhi’s Cathedral Church of the Redemption, sending out a message that faith and unity go hand in hand in India. The Prime Minister extended Christmas greetings to the nation, wishing peace, compassion and hope for all. A special prayer was offered for him during the service, attended by Christians from Delhi and North India. PM Modi later said the timeless message of Jesus Christ continues to inspire harmony and mutual respect. His consistent outreach to the Christian community reflects India’s pluralistic spirit.
