Police denying entry to Jantar Mantar, alleges Wrestlers protesting against WFI chief

Star wrestlers Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia alleged on April 23 that the police were denying entry to protesters at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. The wrestlers claimed that they were not allowed to bring food and water to the site, and Phogat stated that she was denied entry when she went to get her medicine. The wrestlers were protesting against the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, alleging that no action had been taken in the matter and that an FIR had not been registered against Singh.
