The Pakistani prime minister, Shahbaz Sharif, recent asked Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to hold sincere talks about issues that remained unresolved between the two countries, including Kashmir. Reacting on this, former J&K CM Farooq Abdullah said, "even PM Modi has said wars are thing of a past and now diplomacy works. I hope he walks the talk and makes India friends with Pakistan. Only then can terrorism end."
