Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has put forward an innovative proposal that will significantly reduce petrol costs to approximately Rs. 15 per liter. During a rally in Rajasthan's Pratapgarh, Gadkari shared his vision of empowering farmers across the country to become "Urjadaata" (energy providers). He revealed plans to launch new cars that run on ethanol produced by farmers. These vehicles will run on a blend of 60% ethanol and 40% electricity, which will significantly reduce petrol costs to approximately Rs. 15 per liter. The implementation of this eco-friendly approach will not only decrease imports, estimated at Rs. 16 lakh crore, but also contribute to boosting the income of farmers. With these advancements, India proudly embraces its position as the world's fastest-growing economy.
