A complaint has been filed in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Patna Sadar against Tamil Nadu Minister and DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin remarks over ‘Sanatana Dharma’. Patna High Court Advocate Dr Kaushalendra Narayan filed the complaint under sections 295A, 153A, 124A, 298, 499, and 504 of the IPC. Narayan told ANI that he was deeply hurt by Stalin's remark and decided to file a complaint. Earlier, the advocate had applied at the Kotwali police station in Patna a day earlier, on Sunday. “When the Kotwali police station did not take cognizance, the advocate filed a complaint in the Patna CJM court today. In this case, a complaint has been filed on charges of hurting the sentiments of Sanatan Dharma followers, spreading religious fanaticism, treason, and other charges. If proven guilty, there is a provision for seven years' imprisonment,” said Narayan.
