Pak Launches Spy Satellites, India Strengthens Expanding Space Surveillance Grid
Pakistan has launched six Earth Observation satellites in just 16 months, significantly enhancing its surveillance capabilities with Chinese assistance. The development has sparked debate over whether Islamabad can use its growing satellite network to monitor Indian military activity and border regions. However, India already operates a sophisticated space surveillance framework through Project NETRA and IS4OM, while preparing the ambitious SBS-3 programme that will deploy more than 50 surveillance satellites. As Pakistan expands its orbital eyes, India is simultaneously building one of its most comprehensive satellite monitoring and space awareness networks to track threats both on Earth and in orbit.
