Pakistan foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi heckled during a press conference in London. A Canadian journalist alleged that his social media account was suspended over complaints from the Pak government. Qureshi was attending a presser on "Defend Media Freedom" when the incident took place. A few days back, Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) had banned three private channels. “That's exactly what I'm talking about. Twitter didn't delete my whole account. But they deleted a tweet they said violated Pakistani law. Twitter said that to me in an email. I'm in Canada. Twitter is in America. But Pakistan censored us,” the Canadian journalist tweeted.
