Minister of State for Law & Justice, Arjun Ram Meghwal on August 02 said that the Opposition was just making excuses and did not really want a discussion on the Manipur issue in the Parliament. Meghwal said, “When Rajya Sabha Chairman said that we have admitted the notice for discussion on Manipur and called names for the same, we started speaking but then they (Opposition) made excuse quoting rule. It means that they are just giving excuses and are not interested in having discussions. Secondly, Lok Sabha will observe an important bill regarding Delhi (NCT) so that would be discussed today. In Rajya Sabha, we have three bills in the pipeline.”
