Odisha govt to implement disaster preparedness lessons in schools

Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik inaugurated an event on the occasion of Odisha Disaster Preparedness Day and National Day for Disaster Reduction. The event was organised in memory of Super Cyclone of 1999 and strengthen the state's resolve to prepare for any disaster that may take place in future. While addressing the people at the event, chief minister Naveen Patnaik said that the Odisha govt will implement School Safety Policy designed by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) in school textbooks.
