Odisha faces grave flood situation: Special Relief Commissioner

Pradeep Kumar Jena, Special Relief Commissioner of Odisha on August 16 spoke to ANI and shared details on the flood situation in state. He said, “There has been incessant rainfall in the entire Mahanadi catchment. No rainfall in the lower catchment since yesterday. We have a grave flood situation; expecting 11.9 lakh cusecs of water passing through Cuttack.”
